Tinker Bell & Friends
When we work towards a goal for a long period of time, it is inevitable that we hit a point where we feel a bit “stuck in a rut”.
If reaching a plateau, especially when it comes to creating art, I use a technique called Out of Ordinary to keep things fresh: I do something I’ve never done before.
For example, taking Tinker Bell out for a walk in LA. 🙂
Then, the creative forces start flowing again. That’s what this week’s video is all about…

Thank you Alina for giving us this space to participate. I love your horse. Did you just get it? The way I allow creativity to flow is to go out into nature. Yesterday my husband and I went to Meditation Mount in Ojai and while I was sitting in Meditation I got several downloads. I also will ask in a prayer to my angels what I should do next and then eventually a thought pops into my head with the answer.
My pleasure Gail! Thank you so much for sharing your insights with everyone. Excellent!
Hi Alina ~
Thank you for your lovely video 🙂
re: keeping creativity flowing … once it starts, when the inspiration hits, I do my best to not stop it. Don’t look back. Don’t take stock yet. Don’t edit. I just write or record and let it keep unfolding. If it may pause, I stay in the feeling/moment. There could be more and I don’t want my mind to come into the picture yet. Then once its run its course, as Delroy Lindo said in Get Shorty, I’ll put in the commas and stuff. (….. always staying alert for the random extra bit that may float through).

Amazing insight Less, thank you so much for sharing! 🙂 Love it! Words of pure wisdom for an truly creative person.
So Adorable!!!! I love that pony! and I love you!! Yes, nature is a source of connection for me….I love using photography to capture it’s beauty and remind me that creativity can come in many forms. I love to get the angle just right with my camera to capture the tiny bee just right and I also like to use my pen to craft pictures with words for people. The flow of writing is a creative outlet for me.
So true, Maria! Thank you for sharing these profound insights with us. Love your photos – just BEAUTIFUL!!!
